Hampton Court Half Marathon

Giggs hill green, thames ditton, sunday 20th february 2022

Quicksilver Running’s flagship event enters its ninth year in 2022. One of South West London’s major running events, the Hampton Court Half Marathon is highly rated as preparation for a Spring marathon or a major distance race in its own right.

The event is the original race in the area and is run over a fast, flat and visually interesting course that borders the river-side grounds of the magnificent Hampton Court Palace to the South West of London. The fast flat route is definite PB potential, while also offering great scenery. King Henry VIII will be there to cheer everyone on!

Runners will enjoy the closed road loop around the picturesque village of Thames Ditton, the historic Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames marketplace, the iconic 3 mile stretch of the Barge Walk beside the Thames, and of course full views of Hampton Court Palace. The route is pavement, pedestrian/cycle track, riverside way, and tarmac paths through parks.

All finishers will receive our super bespoke race medal once crossing the finish line.

HEADLINE CHARITY

Kingston Hospital Charity

We work with colleagues from across Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and with individuals and organisations in our community to maximise support for three main groups:

Patients and their families by enhancing their experience, through the environments they are cared in and the programmes and equipment we fund

The committed and dedicated staff who work at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, to ensure they can deliver outstanding care

The researchers working in our hospital and partner institutes, who are committed to improving the current and future health of our patients

Everything we achieve is thanks to our amazing supporters. With your help, Kingston Hospital is able to go further and faster than is possible with NHS funding alone.

We are immensely grateful to all who care for our hospital and we strive to ensure that all donations are spent as wisely and cost effectively as possible.
